Chop is a free utility to cut files of up to 12GB into pieces, to manage them better and adjust the size to what you need (to send via email, save to a CD, etc).

Chop also lets you completely personalize both the number of pieces and their size (up to 18 possible predefined sizes) and also rejoin the divided pieces, and a small runnable you can send together with the divided file, so that the receiver can join them together without needing the Chop program in their PCs.

As if all that wasn't enough, Chop reviews the CRC checksum code to verify the integrity of the processed files.
